The Bible says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We have all sinned against the law of God and deserve a severe penalty for it. However, over 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ our Lord, God and Savior, came and paid the penalty for our past, present and future sins. He loves us and therefore willingly sacrificed his life in order to set us free from the penalty of our sins. God has set everyone free, whether they believe it or not, what Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior did over 2000 years ago have set you, me and everyone else free. Let us not take this freedom for granted, come let us worship our Lord, our God with the freedom he has given you and me. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:16, 17) NIV

Not even death can separate us (or our loved ones) from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord(Romans 8:38-39) NIV.
